To arrive from Edmonton International Airport, take Queen Elizabeth II Highway and exit onto Anthony Henday Drive NW toward West Edmonton Mall, then take Highway 16 (Yellowhead Trail) west toward Jasper. To arrive from Hwy 16 west from Hinton, Alberta, follow the highway until the Tonquin Inn is on the right-hand side. To arrive from Hwy 1, turn north on Hwy 93 (Icefields Parkway), which becomes Connaught Drive after crossing Hwy 16.
